Our client is a molecular diagnostics company that provides testing for physicians, clinical trials, and research offering highly sensitive mutation testing from plasma and serum samples.
The core competency in mutation discovery and detection uses technologies such as BEAMing Digital PCR and Plasma- Sequencing (Plasma-Seq).
With the blood-based testing,they deliver a non-invasive alternative for sensitive real-time molecular diagnostics to improve cancer detection, characterization and treatment.
In this business development function the candidate will report directly to the COO & VP Commercial Operations in the US.

Position

  • Identify, target, educate and manage accounts, including hospitals, oncologists, pathologists and lab directors
  • Drive new oncology business, maintaining customer relationships and exceeding sales targets
  • Understand the full workflow for launching new assays in Germany and implement path to reimbursement/payment for the relevant product
  • Identify key physicians, health care providers and organizations and focus targeted sales activity on high-end revenue, volume opportunities
  • Help with the development of the strategy to launch the relevant testing product in Germany by working with the Corporate and Local marketing and commercial teams
  • Support company sales strategy and contribute in fostering a team environment

Profil

  • 7+ years'' experience in selling with a strong record of success promoting complex products in medical oncology and/or diagnostics and closing new accounts
  • Minimum Master''s degree; MD/PhD preferred degree in Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology
  • Strong know-how in the medical oncology
  • Be up to date on current treatments in oncology
  • Have strong KOL management skills to include tests in clinical guidelines
  • Experience in closing multi-stakeholder deals
  • Willingness to travel more than 50 %
