Our client, NIDEC SERVO EUROPE BV www.nidec-servo.com is a member of the NIDEC group of companies (120.000 empl.) www.nidec.com. She is a leading global player in the market of small DC MOTORS and cooling FANS, which are designed in Japan and manufactured in Japan, Indonesia, China and Vietnam. The main application area’s are; telecom, office automation, household, production machines, speed controles, air handling devices and banking machines. The near future focus will also be on the European market, in which a solid customer base already is established and potential future growth is recognized. To achieve her challenging goals and strengthen the European sales organisation, she is looking for a Key Account Manager.

Key Account Manager

Function

You will be responsible for handling some direct/OEM accounts, driving and managing the sales team of a specific marktsegment and a part of the European Distributor network of NIDEC SERVO EUROPE. Therefore you will be communicating with the highest levels of the design and the procurement departments of their multinational clients. Preparing market surveys and market analysis, together with the follow up of sales budgets and sales targets, will also be your responsibility. You will report to the Sales Director for Europe.

Profile

To be successfull in this position you need to have solid and suitable technical and commercial skills and competences, with at least 5-10 years experience in similar international markets. Preferably will be previous experience with working in or with Japanese or other Far East companies. Besides Dutch as a mother language, you are fluent in English and have a good knowledge of the German language.
