For its Northern Europe region (the Netherlands, Belgium, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom), Swisslog HCS is looking for a Head of Sales Northern Europe, with focus on business development in healthcare.

The position

In this job you have ultimate responsibility for all sales and marketing activities in the region. You will coach the sales team in selling integrated solutions to the customer. Your responsibilities are: 

  • To achieve sales growth and higher margins in the Northern Europe region.
  • To work with the EMEA sales management team in order to map out new strategic initiatives that result in sales growth.
  • To manage sales and marketing in the region (a total of 7 FTEs).
  • To determine local sales and marketing strategies in the various countries by working with the local teams.
  • Key Account Management for customers in the Netherlands and Belgium.
  • Ultimate responsibility for all activities in the Netherlands. 
  • You report to the Head of Sales HCS EMEA.

Candidate profile

Swisslog is looking for an experienced sales manager with a clear vision of sales in healthcare and the medical sector who wants to take responsibility for further growth in his region. A leader who is able to inspire and coach his sales team. You will preferably have an extensive and well-maintained network in healthcare. You have:

  • At least ten years of working experience as a sales manager in healthcare.
  • International working experience of, among other things, Key Account Management.
  • Experience of selling capital-intensive projects, products or services, preferably in healthcare. 
  • Completed a higher professional or university education.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A willingness to travel frequently in the region.
  • A good command of Dutch and English.
