The position

As a Senior Lead Process Engineer you are responsible for the execution of high complexity process design for Hydrocarbon industry. Your main tasks & responsibilities include the following:

• Manage the process engineering activities
• Plan and monitor the project planning, coordinate the work with other engineering disciplines, and manage the financial aspects
• Lead the process project team and determines strategy and enhances the options in the creative process by adding original approaches and support creativity in the team
• Work according to ambitious project objectives in close cooperation with a project manager and discipline supervisor
• Have contact with clients regarding project requirements and progress

The Senior Lead Process Engineer carries the primary responsibility for the project result.

Candidate profile

As a candidate for the position of Senior Lead Process Engineer you:

• Hold a Master degree in Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering
• Have extensive knowledge of refinery processes (crude distillation, residual oil processing, hydrotreating, hydrocracking, hydrogen generation & purification, utilities & offsite) and revamp experience is value added
• Have approximately 5 -10 years’ experience in process engineering or a closely related discipline in Hydrocarbin and capable to handle TIC > 100MM €
• Are able to lead and manage complex teams with different engineering expertise, set targets, support and evaluate the output related to ambitious targets
• Have high value engineering office and multi-office project execution experience

As Senior Lead Process Engineer you have/are:

• Very good interpersonal and communication skills, are a team player and have excellent knowledge of the English language, both oral and written
• Pro-active, with a problem solving attitude and effective team management skills
• Act as a mentor and actively invest in the professional development of younger employees
• Involved in Marketing & Sales activities for acquisition of new projects and visiting (potential) clients and assists with the preparation of proposals
