About our client
Our client is an original design manufacturer, provides a range of design, manufacturing, and after-sales service support functions for ICT products worldwide. Currently our client is exploring possibilities to broaden its global presence in recycling by expanding this operation to Europe.
Job description
The BD Manager will set up and manage the recycling business in Europe. The initial assignment will include the exploration of business opportunities, determining the business potential, development of a successful business model and the corresponding business plan covering the complete European market. This in close cooperation with the Global General Manager Green Recycling Business Development.
Subsequently the prospected manager will drive the execution of the plan that may also lead to a new location for the recycling business of the company.
Who we are looking for
To be able to hit the ground running, the right candidate for this entrepreneurial position needs to have experience in business development. Besides that the ideal candidate will also have gained experience in a similar business. You have experience in market researches/analysis, identify business opportunities and are able to present/discuss with conviction and enthusiasm to key management and company board members. You have a proven track record on preparing business plans/models and realizing best fit with future strategy for your company and experience in implementing of new business. You can serve a team as a leader, you provide leadership and direction and are able to oversee all activities including strategic planning, business development, finance, operations, organization/personnel and governance. The work location for the suitable candidate will be defined on a European base as a result of the planning.
